  • Hotel Rooms for Referees at the CJI State Championships. One night stay (2 night min. booking) for traveling referee's from over 75 miles from San Francisco.  Please contact Tisha Chinn at tisha.chinn@archimedesmodel.com.  Deadline is Friday, May 21, 2010. (Posted May 20, 2010)

  • 2010 CJI State Championshipds Update -  Westin SFO is offering $5.00 parking per day along with hotel reservations for the 2010 CJI State Championships.  Rooms are still available.  Please contact Westin SFO and mention 2010 CJI State Judo Championships for the discounted rate.  Rev 4: Sr. Masters divison corrected for age group, Sr. Masters is 30 yrs of age and older and will be competing on Saturday.  Rev 3A: Juv B has been moved to Sunday so they have the option of competing in both IJF (Sat)  and Juv B (Sun).   • Dear Fellow Judoka, and Jiu-Jitsuka, California Judo Inc. is asking for support for advertising in our 2010 California State Championships program guide. Prices starts at a low $25.00 for a business card size ad, (You can send in your business card if you don't have time to make up an ad).   • CJI Update.  2010 CJI State Championships forms are now posted. See revised forms for clarification on reg/weighin on Friday, May28. (Posted April 6, 2010)
Registration will be on Saturday, May 29 and competiton will be on Saturday and Sunday, May 29 & 30.

  • CJI Meeting Update.  In regard to the request from some of you for Tele-conference on the next CJI meeting this coming weekend Saturday, January 23rd beginning at 10:30 AM in the morning with Mac Takeda Promotional meeting. We will be attempting the usage of Skype video conference. If you don't have a Skype account please sign up for one. It is free, and your calls are free.  http://www.skype.com/  We will be setting up this conference with video, If you want video with your call you will need a video camera the ones that connects to your computer. You will need to search and call from your Skype account.   • Dear CJI Members, this is to inform you that there was a mistake on the CJI web site's USA Judo 2010 Club Application. USA Judo's 2010 Club membership has been increased to $50.00. I already have a $25.00 check from most of you. Please remit another check made out to USA Judo in the amount of $25.00 and send to: Vinh Chung, Secretary CJI, 1468 Fifth Avenue, Belmont, CA 94002.  Tel: 650-585-2188.   Some of you have not send in your renewals yet.
